City of Garden Grove:
REJECT GKN’S EXPANSION: The City of Garden Grove must deny any permits related to GKN Aerospace’s ongoing facility expansion in Garden Grove.
SHUT DOWN GKN: The crisis surrounding the chemical tank malfunction has exposed GKN Aerospace’s numerous failures of responsibility over the last decade, including serious environmental violations and complicity in Israel's genocide. The company continues to pose a threat to our community and must be permanently shut down.
ARMS EMBARGO! MORATORIUM NOW:The City of Garden Grove must adopt an immediate moratorium on existing, expanding, and new military manufacturing facilities and review their environmental and labor regulatory compliance. These facilities have proven to be categorically hazardous and prone to violating environmental regulations, labor standards, and international humanitarian law.

About our Campaign
Located in the middle of working-class communities in Garden Grove, GKN Aerospace is part of the military-industrial supply chain, manufacturing components for military aircraft, including F-35 production.
The GKN chemical leak on Thursday evening goes beyond an environmental emergency. It is a warning about what happens when defense and aerospace corporations are allowed to operate in our communities with hazardous chemicals.
Our research also reveals a direct link between GKN Aerospace and the Israeli genocide in Gaza and Lebanon, via GKN’s role in the F-35 supply chain. In fact, one of the main reasons for GKN’s proposed expansion is its contract with Israel to double their fleet of F-35 jets, which have been used over the past several years to bomb civilians indiscriminately.
